The center for rehabilitation medicine at Sanjivani Hospital helps individuals to overcome their health disabilities and achieve optimal health.

All rehabilitation programs are coordinated with the medical and surgical teams who are involved in the patient’s care, with the aim of providing the highest quality of life to the patient.

Neuro Rehabilitation

We provide neuro rehabilitation services for patients with neurological illness or injury that has affected the ability to live and function independently. Patients may avail of rehabilitative services in an inpatient setting, inpatient rehabilitation unit, or in outpatient rehabilitation clinics.

Specialized programs are offered to those affected by:

• Traumatic brain injury
• Progressive neuromuscular diseases such as Parkinson’s
• Memory disorders such as Alzheimer’s
• Spine injuries and disorders
• Complex aeromedical conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis
• Vertigo, dizziness and balance disorders.

• Regain functional independence
• To relearn and perform activities of daily living such as walking, eating, communicating and dressing
• To significantly improve quality of life by optimizing physical, social, and psychological functioning.
